Overview: This short tutorial was written to inform you about a problem you might encounter while trying to install the Outlook Plugin, if you have an anti-virus program running that blocks access to certain files.
The issue is described in the following Microsoft Forums post.
Problem: During installation, you may encounter the error pictured below, telling us that you do not have Microsoft .Net Framework installed on your PC.
Resolution: Please attempt to following these steps.
- Temporarily disable your anti-virus software
- This can often by done by right-clicking on the anti-virus software icon in the icon tray in the lower right hand corner of your screen (next to the clock), and choosing "disable" or "stop").
- Run the Delivery Trust Outlook Plugin setup file again (setup.exe)
- Re-enable your anti-virus software
Result: You should no longer receive the previous error when attempting to install.
