This article depicts what the Recipient experience looks like from a Non-Delivery Trust User's perspective when receiving and replying to an encrypted message.
A Secure Email is sent from a Delivery Trust email encryption subscriber to a Non-User's email account.
*NOTE: We recommend logging into the email from Chrome.
Keep in mind the information below outlines the process with no restrictions (such as Authentication Choices or Security Controls that the sender can implement.)
Locate your Secure Email
[Your Senders Name] has sent you a secure email via the Delivery Trust application from Identillect Technologies. The subject of this email is [Subject of Your Secure Email]. In order to view the secure email, please click on this link prior to [date listed].
The message will appear like the following image:
Option 1 – Using the “Click on this link”
You will see: The Sender’s Profile Name along with Email Address and any Authentication Choices or Security Controls that have been added.
(*Note: this is where you may be prompted to Enter a Passcode to view the message)
After selecting Continue to Email you can now View the Secured Email, Reply or Forward the message (pending any restrictions such as Authentication Choices or Security Controls that have been added.)
Below depicts a Reply:
**NOTE: If you Forward the message it looks the same as above but will have an open “To” field to enter your new recipient’s name.**
Option 2 – Using the Alternate Method to view the message
The secure email notification will be received (like the example below)
You will be taken to a browser page that looks like the one below. Enter the Code provided on the notification message
You can now View the Secured Email, Reply or Forward the message (pending any restrictions such as Authentication Choices or Security Controls that have been added.)
