DELIVERY TRUST® users can enhance their email security by employing Secure Scan, an automated additional feature. It examines message bodies, subjects, and attachments against a customizable dictionary of secure terms and number patterns. Upon finding matches, the system prompts for secure message transmission, effectively reducing human error and inadvertent disclosures of sensitive information.
The changes done by the admin at the Secure Scan Library from the Web Portal, will reflect on the Gmail and O365 add ins.
Check the Outlook Add-in: Secure Scan Add-On Preferences for instructions on how to update the preferences for the Outlook add.
Instructions
1. Login at Identillect.com
2. Click the Business button.
3. Click the Ent. Policy button.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the Secure Scan settings.
5. Click the Open Dictionary button.
6. Add the desired words for the Secure Scan to look for and click on Save Changes.
The Secure Scan will now search for the new words for all the users in the business.
